Overview
Amazing route that cross the Amazon Basin of Perú to the Sacred city of the Inka´s Machu Picchu. Sailing the Apurimac and Urubamba rivers, we are going to explore the jungle between the Junin/Ucayali and Cusco Areas. Great focus to uncover the Amazon basin, Asháninka and Mashiguenga Etnies, Adventure and Cultures to arrive the Magical MachuPicchu by the Amazon way.

Itinerary
DAY 1: LIMA ( HUANCAYO) – SATIPO
From Limawe take a(8 hours)bus ride toSatipo, this is the last city in the Central Jungle before starting our adventure into the Andes and amazons ways. Here we will have our introduction to the Mountains and jungle of Perú.
Stay one night in Satipo.
DAY 2: SATIPO – CCNN BETANIA
From Satipo we take a private transport crossing the Mountainous jungle and arrive to Puerto Ocopa. (2 hours). Is here the river port where we take a boat in the Perene river, after we arrive to the Tambo river in a trip of (6 hours) sailing for arrive to the CCNN of Betania,around the National Park of OTISHI.
DAY 3: CCNN BETANIA (ASHANINKAS)
We will explore all the “Samayreni river” this is the natural pool of Betania, an amazing rock formations, our plan iscamping here into the jungle. We have the opportunity of explore all the biosphere of the Mountains tropical jungle for to see birds, insects, reptiles and all the interesting jungle life. Also we can to walk into the jungle in the night.
DAY 4: CCNN BETANIA ( ASHANINKAS)
After a great swim in the pools wereturn to the Community and explore around,after this we go to the Tambo River for explore and fishing in the river,walking into the jungle to return in the night.
DAY 5: CCNN BETANIA – ATALAYA
In the morning, we take our little boat (pequepeque) in 2 hours sailing the Tambo River, we arrive to Atalaya, an interesting jungle town between the Tambo and Urubamba rive, this rivers get together and make the Ucayali River, very interesting place.
DAY 6: ATALAYA – SEPAHUA
In the early morning we take a boat on the Urubamba river, is here where we start our adventure on the amazon jungle. All the day, we travel on the boat and arrive in the afternoon to Sepahua, other very interesting jungle town.
DAY 7: SEPAHUA – CAMISEA (MASHIGUENGAS)
From Sepahua, we travelon boat to CCNN Camisea. This travel (7 hours) is very interesting, we will see the different Mashiguengacommunities; also we are going to appreciate the biodiversity of this area.
In Camisea we will have a little trek in the community and visit the CamiseaRiver.
DAY 8: CAMISEA – PONGO DE MAINIQUE -IVOCHOTE
In the early morning we take a boat that is going to cross the “Pongo de Mainique” a natural rock door entrance, that make feel us nothing! It is a special place to see the power of Nature, into the green Mountains of Vilcabamba, Cusco.
After this we arrive to the little town of Ivochote, is here that finish our boat trip.
DAY 9: IVOCHOTE – QUILLABAMBA
From Ivochote, we take a private transport to Quillabamba, the most important jungle city in Cusco region. Here, we will appreciate the traditions and customs with the Coffee and Cacao agriculture.
From there, we are going to prepare our trip to MachuPicchu, the organization after our adventure into the Amazon basin.
Day 10: QUILLABAMBA – SANTA TERESA
From Quillabamba, we take our transport direction to MachuPicchu. First, we will arrive to Santa Teresa (the backdoor of MachuPicchu). We are going to rest in Santa Teresa; also we will enjoy the “Cocalmayo hot springs”.
DAY 11: SATA TERESA – MACHUPICCHU PUEBLO
Our last day of the adventure, from Santa Teresa we take a transport to “Hidroelectrica”. Here, we start our last walk to AguasCalientes town (3 hours). We are going to walk around the Archaeological site of MachuPicchu with great views.
Accommodation in our hostel and rest. The next day we go up to MachuPicchu Archeological site.
DAY 12: MACHUPICCHU
Your full day on the amazing Site of MachuPicchu!
